The world on two wheels

“How is possible that you have so much free time to travel? Are you going to stop working? You should have a lot of money?, is what people often tell me when i tell them about my trip, among other phrases such as: i'm crazy, how it will be possible to make that trip? And an endless comments and questions, which let me increase day by day my wishes and desires to continue in this wonderful trip.

I had to take very strong decisions in my life as leave my job, my family, friends and everything around me to start this great adventure.

At the beginning of 2008 began through my mind the idea of a journey around the world, i did not if i’ll do it walking, by car or motorcycle, i hadn´t it very clear and i started to reject options

I thought that travel by car would be very exciting but i hadn´t enough money to travel on it because is too expensive, the second choise was  walking, but i thought it was something like a long vacation where if you decide to take a plane and comeback whenever you want, so it won’t kept me strong, so i choose the third one which would be by motorcycle, in this way i might be more connected with the environment that would rhodes me, it would be cheaper than the car and now i would have a transportation which it keeps me all the time near of it and my feelings would be much better than the previous two medias in my tour around the world, it was the perfect choice. At that time, i had a bmw f650 gs dakar, so i sold it and then i buy a f 800 gs in the same german mark to get more horses in my trip and better management.

Therefore, i started to learn with maps, information from countries and cities, to give me an idea of what places visit, that´s how i started to trace the routes of the countries that i would cross. When i knew where i would cross i draw the route and i arranged to seek all the information on the culture and way of life where i would stay, little by little, i started to equip the motorcycle with everything needed to start this great journey.
